We decided to walk to the library the other day and Hannah wanted to push her bunny...

Our 4th of July

Vacation!!!

Well...we've been back from our vacation for over a week and I'm still not caught up on life!!! I need a VACATION!!! :)


We had a fun week...spending time together as a family. As you'll see in the pictures...we spent a lot of time at the beach...went to lake Michigan...went to a few fairs and just overall had a GREAT time.

Here is how she felt after I tried to wash the sand out of her mouth...she was NOT happy. She loves to eat the sand. ACK!!!

Benjamin spent an entire day looking for snail shells at the beach. When I asked him what his favorite part of our trip was...he said...collecting shells...digging for gems (he thinks all rocks are gems) and spending time with his family. He has such a huge heart!!!

Our day at Lake Michigan...it was WINDY and cold!!!

Yes, Katie...we were out in the middle of nowhere and this is where we stayed. It told you it was just a step above camping!!! :) We used to go there every weekend growing up and had a blast. We loved to explore the woods, ride on the four wheelers and hang out at the beach. It was fun to be able to enjoy it with my kiddos now.

This picture is funny....the boys rode ALL of the carnival rides and this is what they looked like when I came to pick them up. They had just gone on the Zipper and the swings twice in a row and Benjamin wasn't feeling so well. He was so pale and sound asleep on a bench at the carnival. Poor thing felt SO sick!!! Can't believe my crazy boy went on the Zipper...but that's a different story!!!

Up North on the 4th fair...Hannah thought the penny scramble was the best.
